All are invited to attend our 1st Annual Sustainability Awards Banquet
Join Sustainable Driftless, Inc. for an evening of regional pride, inspiration, and community as we honor the inaugural winners of our 1st Annual Sustainability Awards, also known as "the Drifties."
From the rugged bluffs to our vibrant local economies, we are gathering to celebrate those who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in protecting and caring for the Driftless Region. Hear the stories of our applicants and meet the winning stewards, judges, and advocates who make this region extraordinary.
This is the only award program open to applicants from the entire Driftless Region.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
- Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Pettibone Resort, 333 Park Plaza Drive, La Crosse, Wisconsin
- Catering: A delicious buffet dinner and dessert provided by Pogy’s
- Program: Announcing the winners and their stories
Our Program
Hosted by Tim Jacobson (President) and Nancy Breed (Board Member & Event Coordinator), the evening will feature a silent auction, a cash bar, and the presentation of awards in four prestigious categories:
- Business
- Non-Profit / Community
- Land Management
- The George Howe Legacy Award
Cash prizes will be awarded to all finalists, along with a commemorative gift and bragging rights for the winner.
