The ancient, natural landscape of the Driftless Region is a magnet for art and science of photography. The landscape itself challenges these photographic artists to tell the story of the Region and what it means to us all, while capturing and sharing their own vision of what this place is to them, and to us.
This curated edition, "Driftless in Time--Vol. 1" explores time itself, and our impact on this fragile environment, through the lens and imagination of these artists. Featuring photography that speaks to the fragility and the spectacular environment of our shared "Driftless" home--you will be inspired. Combined with essays of those that explore in cold mornings, work and play in the environment, chase the " golden hours" while striving to understand this unique place, while capturing the moments in time around us.
In this gorgeous print volume, we introduce to you the first talented group of photographers that make the Driftless their home, while they share their own perspectives of their time in being a part of this landscape.
Through the choices made via "the artist's eye", technical expertise, and creativity, "Driftless in Time--Vol.1" will bring the Driftless closer to you.
With your support, this work of art is an exploration, and a keepsake of this region. This larger format, limited edition book in print is a record of exploration of the region--and will debut in 2026. Furthering our mission of education and engagement for all ages, through a variety of media and platforms and reaching out to resident or visitor.

Will these books be reprinted someday? These are first run, limited editions.
Are you providing for some way to make the content available online? Yes, we are working on that too, after the first run is completed and distributed, we hope to have them available via an online source to turn them page by page, and be immersed in the Driftless!
